Lean Six Sigma – Leadership and Communications Programs

Lean Six Sigma change agents (Green Belt, Black Belt) must utilize diverse interpersonal, teambuilding and communications skills to effectively implement a Lean Six Sigma process improvement project. Poor communications, not knowing how to recruit and develop the Lean Six Sigma team, antagonizing key personnel, or being unable to help keep team members on track can have significant impact on the eventual bottom line.

Our comprehensive, two level Six Sigma People Dynamics program provides the tools Green Belt and Black Belt practitioners will use to successfully work with employees and management in implementing Six Sigma processes within the organization.

Level One Six Sigma Leadership program includes all the basic skills required to successfully begin introducing Six Sigma into the organization. Level One consists of a four-day intensive in leadership, communications, and group dynamics and a two-day follow up session 60-90 days after the intensive to reinforce learning and to address any challenges facing the Six Sigma Green Belts.

Upon completion of the Level One People Dynamics program, Green Belt participants will be able to:

  • Understand their leadership style and its impact on the Six Sigma process
  • Recruit and develop project team members
  • Understand and work efficiently with diverse personalities and work styles
  • Manage and motivate the team
  • Handle conflict resolution and decision making processes
  • Market the Six Sigma process to employees and management
  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports and presentations
  • Train team members to handle internal issues
  • Develop recognition and reward systems to encourage participation
  • Increase effectiveness through better communications
